Baby Toothless Perched and Curious

Arghhhh finally done. Hard to find time between classes now that school started again. Pastel colored painting of little Toothless perched in a tree! SO CUTE. I CANNOT EVEN. I wish we could see some baby moments in the movies even though they mentioned Toothless might be the last of his kind.

Thought I'd throw in some colors into his back and wings, hopefully it worked out. 

I didn't do anything with the background because i haven't had any practice drawing backgrounds, but if anyone has suggestions I'm definitely open, because I'm not sure what to do with it and didn't want to risk putting down pastel then screwing it up...
